Using her celebrity to help a good cause, Stephanie Pratt was spotted helping distribute toys at the Fred Jordan Mission in Downtown Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (December 20).
At one point, Miss Pratt accidentally gave away her mobile phone in one of the gift bags, though a helpful father of one of the kids brought it back promptly.

In all honesty, say what you want about her, compare her to her brother all you want (even though they have nothing in common), and complain about how she's famous for nothing, but please appreciate the fact that she is very invested in multiple charities and is trying to use her fame, however marginal it may be, to do something good. If you hate her, that's fine, but don't hate on what she's doing.

Lady GaGa talks about being WOMAN OF THE YEAR.
No one had a bigger 2009 than Lady Gaga. Her hits were omnipresent. Her tours legendary. Her television appearances, well, they were definitely water-cooler material. And that's saying nothing about her outfits, her photo spreads or her art. So it was no surprise that last week, MTV News named her Woman of the Year.
On Saturday — hours before her triumphant Monster Ball tour stop in San Diego — we sat down with the reigning princess of pop to talk about the year that was, the year that will be (from the sound of things, she's not planning on resting in 2010) and what the Woman of the Year honor meant to her. Turns out, it meant an awful lot.
"It means everything," Gaga said. "I'm not only flattered but really excited. It makes me want to work harder, make better videos and better shows and better music all the time. I really appreciate all the love MTV has shown me, and the support. My performance at the VMAs, for me, was a turning point artistically, and I appreciated that you guys supported me so much."
And speaking of that blood-soaked, metaphor-heavy Video Music Awards performance (you remember it — the one where she was crushed by a chandelier, gushed gallons of blood and ultimately ascended to heaven?), Gaga counts it as one of her high points of 2009, not only because it set the stage for her current incarnation (the so-called "Fame Monster"), but because it was something she'd been dreaming about for years.
"I always dreamed about being a performer on the MTV awards. … More importantly, I wanted to be a performer, and I wanted my VMA performance to be my groundbreaking, life-changing performance," she said. "So everything that I'd been working on was leading up to that moment, and then after that I gave birth to this new album, The Fame Monster. It was an amazing moment for me."

ONCE AGAIN MILEY is INFLUENTIAL
This time as a popular Baby Name... Oh Joy.

Other celebrity inspired names included Rihanna, after the pop star, Hayden after actress Hayden Panettiere and Malia, inspired by President Barack Obama's daughter.
For the boys, Kingston, the name of pop star Gwen Stefani's son, was becoming increasingly popular, as was Milo, the son of actress Liv Tyler, River, the name of actress Keri Russell's son, Kobe, as in basketball star Kobe Bryant and Jude, after the actor Jude Law.
Fictional characters are also inspiring parents, with the website listing Sloane, the name of a character on TV show "Entourage" becoming more popular for girls while all the names from the hit vampire movie franchise "Twilight" — Edward, Cullen, Bella, Esme — were becoming favorites.
Another website had earlier listed Aiden or Madeline as the top names for boys and girls in 2009, while Jacob and Emma were the most popular of the decade.

In honor of the holidays, Eminem is becoming Santa/Shady Claus. Okay, actually this a charity event. The controversial rapper is showing a rare softer side of himself and getting into the holiday spirit. He is offering fans the opportunity to purchase autographed pictures. These aren't just any pictures though. On Em's website, he has various pictures of himself as Santa with a person on his lap. Fans can upload their pictures into the spot on his lap and then order a print of the photo. Em will then sign the picture and send it out to the fan. Em is hosting this event up until President's Day. The proceeds from this event will go to Em's charity, The Marshall Mathers Foundation. The foundation is set up to support and help the development of disadvantaged youth. This makes for Eminem's second big charity event this year.
The first was his show of support for the out of work auto workers in Detroit. He took them to a Jimmy Kimmel Live taping and gave them a special secret concert as well. He said he was inspired to do that because; he felt like the importance of the auto industry to Detroit was getting overlooked and he didn't want that to happen. In addition to all the charity, Eminem was also crowned top selling artist of the decade and made iTunes 2009 year end album charts. So the rapper is closing out the year on a pretty great note.

Billy Bush's tantrums led to Nancy O'Dell's exit from 'Access Hollywood' look at this motherfucker right here
Nancy O'Dell will miss a lot of things about "Access Hollywood," but her co-host Billy Bush certainly isn't one of them.
A source insists that O'Dell's premature departure from the show, which she appeared on since 1996 (and with Bush since 2004), is because Billy isn't exactly an ideal co-worker.
"The atmosphere at ‘Access Hollywood' is like walking on a landmine because of Billy," the insider dishes. "He throws tantrums and tirades and oftentimes for no apparent reason. It was one of several things that had Nancy at her wit's end after 13 years."
And she didn't go without a fight, either - our source insists she complained numerous times to executive producer Rob Silverstein about Bush's behavior, but to no avail.
"Nancy was still subjected to Billy's outbursts and blow-ups on set, just like everyone else was," the snitch says, adding that Bush's diva-esque behavior is because he "really wants to be the next Ryan Seacrest."
"Billy would go so far as to curse out producers for not writing the copy in a way he liked it, and would really go off if they assigned him to read a story that he felt was beneath him."
So why did he get away with such behavior? Bush and Silverstein are buddies and partners on "The Billy Bush Show," the syndicated nighttime talk radio show that Bush does on the side - and O'Dell accused Silverstein of playing favorites among the co-hosts, according to the source. At least O'Dell came out on top with one part of the "Access Hollywood" family - she was revered by the show's crew.
"People gasped at the news and many began to cry," the insider insists of last Thursday's staff meeting, when the producers announced that Nancy would be leaving.
A rep for O'Dell said: "Nancy's decision was based solely on her desire to take her career to the next level and is completely amicable." A rep for Bush didn't return calls for comment by deadline.
A rep for Access Hollywood says: "Any rumors regarding on-set issues between Nancy O'Dell and Billy Bush are unfounded and completely false. We continue to support Nancy's decision and wish her all the best."

Lionsgate has released a brand new Red Band trailer for their upcoming superhero flick ‘Kick-Ass’. The trailer, which debuted on IGN.com, features Chloe Moretz as Mindy Macready aka the vulgar and deadly 11-year-old assassin known as “Hit-Girl”.
Kick-Ass is directed by Matthew Vaughn (Stardust, Layer Cake) and hits theaters on April 16, 2010.
Synopsis: A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. Wherever crazy goes, bedeviled Cockney soul chanteuse Amy Winehouse follows.
So what's the beehived wunderkind been up to this time? Well would you Adam and Eve it, she's only gone and got herself in a spot of bother over a snafu at a Christmas pantomime. Her indoors reportedly kicked up a ruckus at a Christmas pantomime in the UK over the weekend, and is facing a police probe as a result.
Winehouse is alleged to have turned the air blue with a string of F-laced profanities at panto stars, and kicked a theatre manager in the groin during a performance of Cinderella at Milton Keynes theatre in Buckinghamshire, Britain's The Sun newspaper reports. The 24-year-old singer, who was in the audience with parents and children, allegedly refused to sit down during the performance, blocked the view of families by standing up and heckling the stars, shouting "He's f***** behind you."
The tabloid report claims Wino kept up the catcalling for half an hour during the first act, hollering: "F*** Cinders, Prince Charming, marry me" and branded the Ugly Sisters characters "bitches", snitches said.

BRITNEY Spears has taken aim at some of the tabloid stories that dogged her through 2009, publishing a list of the top 75 articles deemed to be the most ridiculous.
A statement on Spears's official website said more than 13,000 stories had been written about the singer this year - and many were either "patently absurd or simply offensive".
"We ranked the ones we believe were the most ridiculous," the statement said, trumpeting the website's list of the "top 75 Bulls#it Britney Spears stories" of 2009.
Among the stories to make the list include a report from a London tabloid citing a new Spears biography which stated that the singer's family used to eat squirrel meat during her "trailer park childhood".
According to the Daily Star, the revelations had sent "sales of squirrel meat soaring" as fans "snapped up squirrel, rabbit and possum meat from butchers and restaurants".
Another item on the list - weighing in at 57th place - was Spears's addiction to "flower therapy", a system which uses plant essences to "balance physical and emotional disturbances".
Also on the list was a report from London's Evening Standard claiming that Spears had requested a stripper's pole to be installed at her suite in The Dorchester Hotel to help the singer stay in shape.
"Britney loves pole dancing, it is her new favorite workout," an unidentified source told the newspaper.
"She wants to be able to do it in the privacy of her own hotel room."
At number one was a January story from Britain's Daily Mirror revealing that Spears was dating Indian choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and that she had hosted a private New Year's Eve party to introduce him to her friends and parents.
Several of the stories near the top of the list related to Spears's recent troubled tour of Australia, including a November 7 story from the Herald Sun newspaper which revealed fans had walked out of a concert in Perth because of her lip-synching.
Despite quotes from several named fans unhappy at Spears's performance, promoters for the concert insisted that reports of a walkout were inaccurate.
